I’m a USC student studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with three years of tutoring and mentorship experience. I work with students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, SAT Math, reading, analytical writing, Microsoft Excel, economics, and finance. My approach is simple: build a strong foundation, break difficult problems into clear steps, and make sure students understand why a method works rather than just memorizing it.
For Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, I help students strengthen core skills in equations, inequalities, functions, systems, exponents, polynomials, and quadratics. For SAT Math, I combine concept review with targeted practice, pattern recognition, and efficient problem-solving strategies. I also support reading comprehension and analytical writing by helping students identify main ideas, use evidence, make inferences, and organize clear arguments.
My teaching style is shaped by experience explaining complex ideas to people with different backgrounds. I created and ran a mentorship program for students pursuing investment banking, worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America in TMT and Credit Suisse in M&A, and managed an $875,000 budget as a national organization treasurer. Whether a student is working through algebra, preparing for the SAT, improving reading skills, or learning Excel, my goal is to make the material clear, structured, and much less intimidating so they can solve problems confidently on their own.
