Hi, I'm Aujin! I am currently studying political science at the University of Southern California, with strong coursework in government and political theory, as well as intensive writing-based classes. I graduated high school having earned a 35 on the ACT and 5s on AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP U.S. History, and AP English Language and Composition. Excelling on these courses and standardized exams require mastery of content and test strategy that teachers often fail to emphasize.

I have experience working one-on-one with high school students and peers, helping them prepare for standardized tests and AP coursework. My tutoring approach emphasizes breaking down difficult or overwhelming material into clear, manageable chunks and concepts while also teaching students how to think and write in the way the test or grader wants. For ACT prep I focus on timing strategies, question patterns, and efficient problem-solving strategies, while also taking a more focused approach on gaps in the student's learning. For AP classes, I help students understand how to approach multiple-choice questions, document-based questions, and essays/FRQS with confidence and structure.

I primarily work with high-school aged students in individual tutoring settings, tailoring each session to the student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. I am especially comfortable helping students through ACT prep, AP U.S. History, AP Government, and AP English Language, as well as general writing and reading skills. My goal is to help students not only improve scores and grades, but also develop skills that make future coursework and standardized testing more approachable.
