I have taught and substituted full-time in Los Angeles middle schools, primarily in underserved areas, and I use culturally responsive methods to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, group instruction, and leading full-class discussions in World History, U.S. History, government, and writing. I emphasize critical thinking, clarity, and confidence, helping students exams, but also in understanding why the material matters in their lives.
