Since graduating magna cum laude from UCLA (with a BA in Labor Studies and minors in Food Studies and Spanish), I have tutored students at top public and private schools across LA, including Archer, Campbell Hall, Crossroads, Geffen Academy, Marlborough, Milken, New West Charter, and Windward. I specialize in French and Spanish (through AP/college level), Executive Functioning coaching, and college essay writing, while also being an experienced subject and ISEE tutor.

Native in French and fluent in Spanish, I work with students ages 8-22 to strengthen speaking, writing, and listening fluency with personalized interactive exercises.

As an experienced Executive Functioning coach, I support middle school through college students in time management, organization, planning, and more — using systems and strategies adapted for learning challenges like ADHD, autism, and dysgraphia. Middle schoolers develop the self-regulation skills to succeed in high school, high school seniors break down the college application process, and college students manage life away from home.

I also guide high school juniors and seniors through writing college essays (6–16 weeks), using story-driven strategies to craft compelling, personalized work.

Finally, I am an experienced subject tutor, having supported students in math from elementary Singapore math to Algebra 1, all core middle school subjects, and English through AP level. I have also helped 5th - 7th graders applying to competitive middle school achieve top scores on the ISEE Exam.

In addition to tutoring, I am pursuing a career in writing, currently completing a young adult dystopian novel. In my free time, I love escaping into a good book, going on walks with my goldendoodle Beau, visiting the Santa Monica and Culver City farmers markets for delicious bread and produce, and reaching new heights on the climbing walls at Cliffs of Id.

Executive Functioning

Executive Functioning

As an Executive Functioning coach, I support 6th-12th grade as well as college students in time management, organization, planning, and more through regular goal-setting, along with tailored systems and strategies that promote structure and accountability. Approaches (ie. paper or digital) are personalized based on student needs. I have helped students with ADHD, autism, and dysgraphia. Middle schoolers develop the self-regulation skills to succeed in high school and beyond, while high school seniors break down their college application process into manageable chunks. College students learn to manage their time effectively and hold themselves accountable without the structure of home or school. Regardless of academic stage, all cultivate metacognitive awareness to understand why their habits work (or don't) and how to adjust dynamically on their own.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I have worked with juniors and seniors from high schools nationwide on crafting strong personal statements and supplemental essays. Our process is story-forward, using narrative strategies ("show don't tell," plotting, pacing, voice) to build compelling and highly personalized essays, regardless of word count. My students are consistently admitted to their top schools, whether highly selective (3-25% acceptance) like Colgate University or Macalester College, boasting standout professional programs like Ithaca College, or leading public research universities like Oregon State University.
