I am currently a Finance major at Indiana University, where I have developed a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and operations through rigorous coursework and real-world application. Alongside my studies, I founded and ran B-Town Tutors, a student-led tutoring business focused on Indiana University’s I-Core Finance and Operations curriculum. Through this venture, I tutored over 30 students per week, designing structured review sessions, practice exams, and targeted explanations tailored to each student’s learning style. My students consistently achieved exam scores averaging two standard deviations above the course mean, reflecting both mastery of the material and an ability to clearly communicate complex concepts in an accessible way.

My tutoring approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and confidence. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into logical steps, reinforcing intuition before formulas, and helping students understand not just what to do, but why it works. Prior to Indiana University, I attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles, where I balanced academics with Varsity basketball and high jump, which instilled discipline, time management, and a strong work ethic that carries into my teaching style. After graduation, I will begin my career in Restructuring Consulting / Investment Banking at one of the top firms in the country, working on complex financial and operational problems for real businesses. I bring that same analytical rigor and results-oriented mindset to tutoring, with the goal of helping students not only improve grades, but truly understand the material and build lasting confidence.
