For over ten years, I’ve helped students brainstorm, develop, and refine their application essays. The students I’ve worked with have been admitted to highly selective schools including Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and Washington University in St. Louis, as well as top secondary schools such as Phillips Academy Andover. In addition, I’ve recently navigated the graduate admissions process myself and have been admitted to top MBA programs, giving me current, first-hand insight into what successful applications require.
I understand how overwhelming and stressful the application process can feel. My approach is not about helping students write a “perfect” essay, but about guiding them in uncovering and expressing their most authentic, compelling stories. I focus on idea development, structure, clarity, and voice—so the final essay genuinely reflects who they are.
