Educational Background

I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with research and industry experience in vehicle systems, composite body panel design, turbomachinery, fluid mechanics, and advanced 3D CAD modeling. My academic training includes graduate-level work in fluid dynamics, thermofluids, compressors and turbines, thermal sciences, FEA, and mechanical design. I also have professional experience in composite structures, body systems, and additive manufacturing.

Teaching & Tutoring Experience

I am a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), teaching upper-division and graduate courses. My classes include Fluid Machinery (pumps, fans, compressors, turbines) and subjects related to thermofluids, system design, and computational analysis. I have several years of experience teaching engineering students in classroom and one-on-one settings. I focus on clear explanations, real-world examples, step-by-step problem solving, and helping students understand both the process and the reasoning behind it. I support students with exam prep, homework, lab reports, and major design projects. I have worked with freshmen through graduate students and mentor research and advanced design work. My tutoring spans thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, turbomachinery, dynamics, mechanical design, CAD modeling, and engineering math.
