I am a communications specialist, writing coach, and globally experienced tutor who believes that strong writing and strong thinking go hand in hand. I have spent over five years tutoring students across the U.S., Japan, and China, working with learners from diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and academic systems. Since 2015, I've helped 100+ students in the US, China, and Japan with their college applications to top-tier university vis essay, test, and interview prep. This experience taught me how to adapt quickly, listen closely, and meet every student exactly where they are so I can help them grow.

My professional background spans strategy consulting, brand strategy, campaign development, and copywriting, which means I bring a communication expert’s eye to all forms of writing. I do not simply fix sentences. I teach students how to express ideas with intention, rhythm, and clarity.

I also have experience in reading comprehension, grammar, and writing support for international students/non-native English speakers.
