I hold a B.F.A. and B.S. in Cinema Arts + Sciences from Columbia College Chicago and studied Visual Development at the Beijing Film Academy. I’ve taught and mentored students and emerging artists through workshops, panels, and creative programs, including my own conversation series, Midnight Jasz, hosted at Soho House. I’ve also led panels at Comic-Con and LightBox Expo, where I shared insights on visual storytelling, portfolio development, and working in the entertainment industry. My approach to tutoring is supportive, adaptable, and focused on helping each student grow in both skill and confidence.
I work with students of all ages, from beginners learning art fundamentals to advanced artists developing portfolios for college or professional work. My goal as a tutor is to make learning creative principles accessible and enjoyable, while helping students build the tools they need to express their ideas visually and confidently pursue their artistic goals.
