The program provided interventionist tutoring for elementary students in English Language Arts and Math. I have experience with every single grade level in elementary school. The ELA curriculum I have taught covers phonics and word study, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. I have helped ESL students and new readers; I have helped reading students improve their proficiency with reading, synthesizing, and writing. The Math curriculum I have taught has covered all relevant subjects: addition, subtraction, fractions, time, and money for the younger students and multiplication, division, and pre-algebra for the older students. I have worked with students one-on-one. I have worked with groups of five children at a time from all levels of proficiency. With my background, I can instruct students on the fundamentals of English Language Arts and Math and help improve their skills.
