Debate State Champion Turned Coach | From Novice to National Level

I’m a New York State Congressional Debate Champion and debate coach with experience teaching at Yale’s Debate Summer Program and coaching students to state-level success, including a two-time New York State champion.
I work primarily with middle and high school debaters, helping them strengthen case construction, sharpen rebuttals, improve cross-examination, and speak with clarity and confidence in round. My coaching focuses on the skills that consistently win debates: clear organization, strategic refutation, impact weighing, and controlled delivery under time pressure.
I’ve competed and coached across Congressional Debate, Lincoln-Douglas, Parliamentary Debate, and Spontaneous Argumentation, and I tailor each session to the student’s format, experience level, and goals. Whether a student is new to debate or aiming to place more consistently at competitive tournaments, I focus on steady, measurable improvement.
