I am an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Management Consulting. As a Presidential Scholar and member of the Thematic Option Honors Program, I have maintained strong academic standing while completing rigorous coursework in math and science, including honors and AP-level algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, biology, physics, and statistics. These courses have given me a solid foundation to tutor students across STEM and general academic subjects with confidence and clarity.

My tutoring experience began in high school through the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, each requiring twenty hours of tutoring. I worked with high school students in various subjects—especially math—and tutored middle school students in Spanish. In addition, as president of student government, I mentored younger students and organized academic support programs that helped them strengthen study habits and time management skills. These roles taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and clear communication when guiding students.

My tutoring style is encouraging and structured. I believe in focusing on understanding rather than memorization, helping students build confidence through consistent progress and positive feedback. Having been both a tutor and a tutee, I know the value of setting clear goals and creating an open environment for questions and discussion. I aim to make each session productive and engaging, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs and learning style. Through tutoring, I hope to help others reach their academic potential using the same strategies that have supported my own success.
