Hello! I’m Timothy. If you're looking to truly understand the "why" behind complex concepts in math, physics, or computer science, you've come to the right place. My passion is bridging the gap between textbook theory and real-world application. Currently, I am a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX in Hawthorne, where I work on the Raptor rocket engine. I have a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science , with a minor in Mathematics.

My approach is built on a foundation of award-winning teaching experience. In college, I was a TA for physics and tutored students weekly in computer science and math. My sessions in Fundamentals of Programming, Discrete Mathematics, and Object-Oriented Programming earned me the Outstanding Tutor Award in 2019. I don't just teach you how to get the answer; I give you the fundamental intuition to solve problems you've never seen before.

Whether you're struggling with a specific concept, preparing for an exam, or just want to get ahead, I can help you achieve your academic goals.

Computer Science

I am a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, and I enjoy helping students see how powerful programming can be. In my daily work, I write C++ firmware for the Raptor rocket engine and use Python with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas to analyze complex test data, giving me many practical examples to share. As a former award-winning tutor for courses like Fundamentals of Programming and Discrete Mathematics, my focus is on making complex topics feel approachable and building your intuition for solving problems on your own.
