Greetings.
My name is George G. and I am an Armenian American tutor who can tutor students in multiple languages, including Armenian, English, Spanish, Russian, and Psychology.
I earned my associate's degree in Spanish in 2019 and a second associate's degree in Communication Studies in 2024 from LAVC. After which I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from CSU Northridge. Most recently, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Counseling from USC.
I have tutoring experience in tutoring students from high school in English and Spanish. In general, I have experience working in an educational setting for almost 8 years now, having worked at LAVC for 7 years as an academic advisor assistant and intern. At LAVC, I also shadowed the tutors in the tutoring center, after which I mastered my tutoring skills by working with high school students in private settings, as well as in group tutoring sessions.
I have been tutoring since 2019, and most of my experience is rooted in working with high school students. However, I am experienced in working in a higher education setting as well and am more capable of tutoring students who are in community college or university as well.
