I’m Bassel. I hold a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the American University in Cairo, a graduate diploma in finance from Vancouver Island University in Canada, and a master’s in finance from La Trobe University in Australia (GPA 3.41). Currently, I’m pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at California Southern University (GPA 3.93). I also hold Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses from FINRA in the U.S.

My passion for finance and economics grew thanks to dedicated professors who used creative, engaging methods. I carry this forward by tailoring my tutoring to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I believe in two-way learning, using emotional intelligence to connect and foster understanding. My goal is not only helping students pass exams but also building lasting analytical and life skills.

I explain economic and financial concepts in multiple ways—breaking down complex equations with logic and simplicity. During problem-solving, I guide students through errors, turning mistakes into learning moments. My sessions include 5-minute breaks every 20–30 minutes to maintain focus and energy, a technique supported by research.

I have tutored high school and college students one-on-one or in small groups, where I can give focused, personalized attention. Having studied in Egypt, Canada, Australia, and the U.S., I draw from a wide range of educational experiences and cultural perspectives, enriching my teaching style. I also have professional experience writing financial reports, consistently praised for clarity and insight.
