Hi there. I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Taegan and I’ve been working in performance and academic communication spaces for nearly a decade. I was a nationally ranked competitor in speech and debate for four years in high school, specializing in events like Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, and Impromptu Speaking. I won state championships three years in a row and was selected to compete at national invitationals where I had the opportunity to sharpen my skills among the best. Alongside this, I was also a theater student and one-act play performer, earning recognition at the state level for both performance and leadership.

These experiences shaped how I think, how I communicate, and how I teach. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed trying to get your words right or to second-guess whether what you’re writing or saying is actually making an impact. That’s why I work closely with students to help them develop clarity, structure, and confidence—whether they’re preparing for a speech, writing an essay, interviewing for a role, or just trying to participate more actively in class.

I have experience tutoring both middle school and high school students in essay writing, speech prep, persuasive writing, public speaking, and storytelling techniques. I especially enjoy helping students craft strong thesis statements, organize ideas effectively, and write in a way that feels both authentic and intelligent.
