I’ve taught in self-contained classrooms, small-group and one-to-one interventions in elementary, middle, and high schools; most were Title 1 and/or dual language schools. I hold dual degrees in Bilingual/Bicultural Education and Spanish Language & Literature, and I have a current California Multiple Subject teaching credential in good standing.
I believe learning happens best when students are at the center of their educational journey. As your child’s tutor, I guide them through hands-on exploration and independent thinking, using the gradual release method - I demonstrate while explaining my thought process, then we practice together, and finally they work independently with confidence.
