I'm a published author, producer, and Ivy League graduate offering personalized tutoring in writing, English, French, history, math, and media studies, drawing on a thirty-year career spanning feature films, international communications, and political analysis. For the past ten years, I’ve tutored my daughter and a number of her friends to success in subjects ranging from English and French to math and physics. Now that she’s sixteen and no longer needs my help, I’m eager to continue helping other kids to build confidence and excel academically.

My professional work includes screenwriting, political journalism, corporate communications, and speechwriting. I graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin) and am proficient in six languages altogether. As a writer in the film industry I've collaborated with five Academy Award nominees, including three winners. I have taught in classroom settings in both the US and in Ireland. I bring this depth and range of experience to my tutoring.
