I study the history of Western Consciousness at UCLA. This subject necessarily intertwines modern perspectives with the history of (primarily) European Political/Social Thought from the time of Plato (Ancient Greece) to that of contemporary scholars, many of whom I have had the privilege of meeting and engaging with (Nadia Urbinati, Anthony Pagden, etc.) Through this, I have gained invaluable experience in applying European history to political argumentation/writing.
