Eventually, I hope to become a professor. I love both learning and teaching, and in particular I enjoy computer science and mathematics because they're like fun puzzles. I've taught students from all walks of life - from volunteering at a computer science outreach program for elementary school students at a transition home to being a tutor for UC Berkeley law students learning python to being a TA for a couple of undergraduate UC Berkeley courses. I've also privately tutored students ranging from elementary school through college, so I'm looking forward to helping you succeed no matter where you're at!
I really enjoy making sure that students have a good intuitive understanding of the content. Sometimes, this means taking a step back to build the basics, but I always find it worthwhile. You'd be surprised how much easier peoples' lives become when they spend a bit more time getting comfortable with fractions, or other seemingly simple building blocks.
