He has devoted his career to teaching middle and high school students, developing inclusive curricula that align with California state standards, with expertise in subjects such as ancient civilizations, ethnic studies, human geography, and U.S. history—particularly focused on supporting neurodivergent learners. Blake has taught grades 6–12 in diverse educational environments, including public and private schools. Currently, he teaches 8th-grade U.S. History, designs curricula tailored to neurodivergent students, and collaborates with counselors to support students’ social-emotional development. Blake emphasizes differentiated instruction, collaboration, and active student engagement in his teaching. He has led advisory classes focused on social-emotional learning and frequently chaperoned field trips to enrich experiential learning.
