Hi, I’m Blake! With 16 years of experience in college admissions, essay mentoring, and tutoring, I help students gain acceptance to Ivy League and top-tier universities, including Dartmouth, Harvard, Cornell, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, NYU, UCLA, Michigan, UNC-Chapel Hill, USC, Boston University, Villanova, Wisconsin, UT-Austin, Wesleyan, Tulane, Boston College, and more. I guide students through all aspects of college prep, from class selection to crafting a well-rounded college list. Regular campus visits give me firsthand knowledge of schools’ academics and culture, allowing me to help students find the right fit both academically and personally.

A key focus of my approach is passion projects—community-based initiatives that engage students in meaningful work. These projects help students develop leadership skills while making an impact, serving as a foundation for standout college essays. Whether volunteering, organizing programs, or leading campaigns, students demonstrate initiative, commitment, and personal growth through these experiences.

I also specialize in essay coaching, guiding students through brainstorming and polishing their personal statements and supplemental essays to showcase their authentic selves.

Beyond college prep, I have extensive experience in private high school admissions and specialize in ISEE and HSPT tutoring for competitive schools.
