With over a decade of work in chemistry education, I'm ready to teach chemistry to students of any age. After earning my PhD in chemistry at UCLA, I went on to teach general at UCLA, UCLA Extension, LMU, and CSUCI as an adjunct professor. I've also worked as high school chemistry teacher at Geffen Academy. As such, I have experience teaching chemistry to students from their young teenage years through middle age.

Throughout my entire time as an educator, I've emphasized meaningful learning and the importance of social dialogue in learning science. I've been trained in multiple innovative teaching methods (including the American Modeling Teachers Association's Introductory Chemistry curriculum and the Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning method) and have received excellent feedback from students. I have experience teaching to multiple class sizes, from lecture halls with over 200 hundred students, to tutoring in one-on-one sessions.
I look forward to helping you succeed in your studies!
