I am an actively gigging professional flute player in LA! I received classical flute training from 11 to 21 years old, where I was ranked one of the best flute players in Wisconsin in 2016 and the next year was ranked first chair in the orchestra at the Mead Witter School of Music I studied at. While I was receiving my classical training, I gigged in Madison on jazz flute and taught flute students. I had to leave flute playing for a little bit due to chronic back issues and became a full-time climate activist through Sunrise Movement.
In 2022, I was able to come back to flute playing and started producing my own music and gigging on flute in LA. I have played at the York, Tiny Room, Zebulon, and the Viper Room, to name a few. I am also an active artist with experience in the music industry, under my artist name NOAMZ, making alternative soul music.
