I have been tutoring younger students informally for some time now, helping them with specific subjects like calculus and chemistry. I typically begin each session with a quick review of the previous session's content, then do a content review for the day. After this, we work through some problems together, depending on the topic, after which I will assign the student some homework. If the student has questions throughout the week or needs some help with homework, my schedule is flexible and I can accommodate this.
Much of my teaching has been volunteer experience, and has occurred in a one-on-one setting. I have taught children in a classroom environment a few times and find both methods quite enjoyable. I have taught students from elementary school to high school, though I enjoy teaching older children a little better.
