I have an extensive background teaching writing and working with students of all ages. I'm especially skilled at helping students feel empowered as they become confident writers. I have experience working with students on: college application essays, middle and high school in-school essays and English assignments, private school entrance essays, summer program applications and creative writing/film portfolio development. I have a B.A. from Yale University in Humanities and an MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in Film. Recent clients have received Ivy League and UC acceptances as well as acceptances to many elite summer programs. However, my focus and passion is on making every student - from a shy 6th grader learning to write a school essay to a high school senior scrambling to finish their college applications -- become a more confident and fluent writer.
