Hey there, my name's Sandra! I graduated from UCLA with a BS in Physics, and I'm thrilled to help you dive into two of my favorite subjects - math and physics.

To be honest, I once struggled with these subjects myself until I discovered effective ways to study them. I've been through the grinder! Math and physics can be confusing, discouraging, and downright stressful. Over my six years as a tutor, though, I've also seen that under the right conditions anyone can learn anything. That's why above all else, I strive to create a good learning environment - relaxed, curious, communicative, and yes, challenging. Here's what you can expect from our sessions:

A bit more about me. I have applied my knowledge of math and physics in machine learning and neurotechnology, which ultimately led me to my current role as a data engineer at a medical device startup. I've also spent the past six years tutoring everything from grade school math to college physics, particularly specializing in high school math, AP Calculus, and AP Physics. I have worked with Cognitrell (an online tutoring service) and as an independent tutor. I'm here to meet you exactly where you are - and help you grow from there!
