Prior to beginning my career, I received a BA from Boston University, with a major in Film and a minor in Creative Writing.
My career has involved working closely with others, be they producers, co-writers, or those I've been hired to rewrite, helping them turn a piece of material into the best version of itself. I've also guided numerous aspiring writers through the process of creative development: molding a concept into an outline, then into a treatment, and, finally, into a fully-realized screenplay, which can then be polished into something salable.
My specialties go beyond the writing and editing of screenplays. I also have years worth of experience pitching my work to studios and financiers, and an expert grasp of what material is selling and how to go about selling it. I have also taken on various editing jobs over the years, proofreading everything from essays to stories and novels.
I have spent plenty of time working one-on-one with less experienced writers, both in-person and online, as well as participating in writer's rooms and leading groups.
