Medical Student, UCLA-Trained Tutor, 97th Percentile MCAT, 1540 SAT

Polo M.

Hello! My name is Polo and I am a recent UCLA graduate, and currently in Medical School to become a physician. During my time at UCLA, I was a Head Learning Assistant in the life science department. My responsibilities included applying evidence-based learning techniques in UCLA STEM classrooms, as well as teaching other Learning Assistants on how to more effectively foster learning in their classrooms.

I have been tutoring for eight years now, as I began tutoring math in high school. I scored in the top 1% nationwide on the SAT, with a score of 1540, and I am passionate about helping students maximize their potential on the SAT! I also earned the College Board's award of National AP Scholar, having taken 12 AP Exams and scoring the highest score possible on seven of them. (I have listed my scores at the bottom of this page)

I possess the skills to do well on standardized tests, and I also have the passion and experience to teach those skills to motivated students! If you would like to maximize your potential in academics, feel free to message me to schedule a one-on-one tutoring session.
