I tutor ALL math courses. Some of these include: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, SAT/ACT/CST preparation, Business Math, Finite Math, Discrete Math, Logic, Proofs.
About me: I was a professor of mathematics at Wagner College in Staten Island in 2023-2024. Prior to that, I taught mathematics at City University of New York from 2016-2023. I have a PhD in Mathematics from City University of New York Graduate Center, and masters degrees from University of California San Diego and Florida International University in physics and math, respectively. I taught English at the K-6 level in Japan after college. I also worked as a corporate trainer teaching computer programming. Essentially, in one guise or another, I have been teaching since I was an undergraduate tutor in 2006. I believe that my quite varied teaching experiences make me the flexible, patient, effective teacher I am today.
