Hi there! I am a UCLA graduate with a BA in English. During my undergraduate studies, I specialized in professional writing, sharpening my skills as an editor and a writer. In 2024, I built on this foundation at Reading on the Pitch, an international nonprofit organization, where I conducted research on the education of displaced refugee children, creating informational content to raise awareness of this critical issue. My writing portfolio includes two op-eds for Outwrite Magazine and three self-published books. Additionally, in October, I earned a certification in Introductory Technical Writing from Coursera.

Over the past four years, I gained extensive experience as a proofreader, editing various academic and personal essays for my undergraduate peers. I specialize in English and literature and am eager to support your academic, critical, or creative writing endeavors. I always suggest at least two rounds of edits: first, macro-level suggestions about the big picture so we can figure out what could be developed or condensed. Then, we can move on to micro-level line edits for better readability and refinement. I am willing to do as many or as few rounds of editing as desired. Whether you're in the brainstorming phase or need detailed feedback on a draft, I can assist in developing outlines and ideas, strengthening arguments, or perfecting prose. I use Google Docs to make my edits, using the commenting and suggesting modes. I can conduct the edits and feedback with or without virtual meetings, depending on what works best for you!
