I'm Kiley! I recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Public Affairs and a minor in Environmental Systems and Society. For the past year, I have worked with middle school students, assistant teaching in all subjects. Now, I work in environmental education with students K-12, working on gardening and urban greening projects. Additionally, I have several years of experience teaching art and dance classes to students of all ages. I am looking forward to the opportunity to helping students grow and making learning fun.
I am looking to help students of any age with writing skills/ essay writing and history. For students in middle school and below, I am interested in teaching these same subjects, as well as math, earth science, and basic Spanish. In high school, I took 12 AP classes, ranging from subjects like AP Calculus to AP European History. I also took 12 years of Spanish from kindergarten to senior year. In college, given that I possess a degree in both the humanities and physical sciences, my course load ranged across subjects with classes like Geophysics and Statistical Data Analysis, as well as Social Movements and Social Change.
My goal is to make students' educational experiences as enjoyable and inclusive as possible, and I strive to meet the individual needs of every student. I am super easy to reach, so please feel free to contact me with any additional questions!!
