Hi, I’m Dr. Pauline! I am from France and bilingual in English. I received my first doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) in France and my Masters in Pharmacology in England. As a pharmacy student, I led an HIV prevention program educating high school students about HIV, AIDS and prevention.
After graduation, I worked as a pharmacist where I mentored 13 pharmacy assistants and students. Wanting a career in research, I moved to the U.S. 11 years ago to get my second doctorate in Biology/Molecular Genetics (PhD) at the University of Florida, after which I transitioned to a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role in the pharmaceutical/cancer diagnostics industry where I mentored 8 adult professionals.
Over 20 years ago, I began tutoring 8 elementary, middle and high school kids, and fell in love with helping, inspiring and empowering students to unlock their learning and personal potential and succeed academically! As a graduate student, I acquired extensive teaching and mentoring experience. I taught 137 undergraduate students in 3 in-person and online Science classes, mentored 14 graduate, undergraduate and high school students, and coordinated educational outreach activities for 23 high school students.
Every student is unique. As a tutor, I use a personalized approach customizing my instruction to each learner. I create a safe, supportive, inclusive, inspiring and engaging learning environment that empowers students to participate and question, boosts their confidence in the subject, helps them grow academically and personally, and where success is a shared achievement! Leveraging my scientific and linguistic skills, and my 20+ years of tutoring experience, I specialize in 1:1 tutoring in Languages (ESL, French), Math and Science for K-12 students.
