As an undergraduate Physics and Statistics major at USC, I have over three years of experience tutoring students in a wide range of STEM subjects. I’ve worked with high school and early college students, and I pride myself on adapting my teaching style to fit each student’s individual learning needs. No two students think the same way, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

In high school, I completed AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M), AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics, earning a score of 5 on each exam. I am now well into my upper-division physics coursework at USC, where I continue to deepen my understanding of both theoretical and applied physics, as well as statistical modeling and data analysis.
My teaching philosophy centers on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I believe students perform best when they truly understand why something works, not just how to plug numbers into formulas. I focus on building intuition first, then layering in formal problem-solving techniques. I frequently use diagrams, visual explanations, and real-world analogies to make abstract concepts less intimidating, especially for students who feel overwhelmed by equation-heavy instruction.
I also help students develop problem-solving strategies, test-taking confidence, and organized approaches to complex multi-step problems. Whether you're preparing for an AP exam, tackling challenging homework, strengthening foundational math skills, or looking for ongoing academic support, I want to help create a learning environment that feels encouraging, clear, and engaging.
If you're looking for thoughtful, personalized support in physics or math, I’d love to work with you. I look forward to hearing from you!
