My approach with students is to spend time with them, discovering their interests, their backgrounds and their everyday lives. Sometimes it's the smaller details that become the college essay and we leave no stone unturned. Student don't always know what is fascinating about them and with the brainstorming tools I have developed, we find what best represents them. A gripping story that will leave the college admission officer with a sense of who the student is. I always tell my students we aren't looking for perfection because in the world of AI that is easily achieved. We are looking for their unique point of view, for their sense of humor and their lived experience. With my essay writing program, this can happen in less than ten sessions.
For Film and Drama applicants, I have worked for thirty years in theatre and TV as a writer and actress. Well versed in acting school auditions and screenwriting, I am available for coaching and film school applications.
