My chess resume includes the following accomplishments: I was the 2004 National HS Speed Chess Champion. I was the Captain of the 1999 K-6 National Championship Team and the 2001 K-8 team. I've won multiple New York State and City championships. I was featured in the book The Kings of New York, and I Graduated from Princeton in 2009 where I was the third-highest rated player.
I learned from some of the best teachers and players in the United States and am excited to share my own twist on that chess pedagogy with you. I take a very Socratic approach, showing you how to overcome your own obstacles on the board (and maybe off?). We'll start off with the basics and move on to game play and review. From there, cover the high-level opening, middlegame, and endgame components before diving deeper in key areas.
