Hey there, I'm Kanan! I graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Psychology. I apply my skills and knowledge daily as a full-time Mechanical Engineer, but there is nothing I enjoy more than using my free time to help students learn, grow, and develop their own skills in STEM topics. My areas of expertise range from physics to calculus, psychology to trigonometry, and much more. Given my work experience, I am particularly adept at tutoring various Mechanical Engineering topics, including CAD and Product Design.

I strongly believe tutoring is a collaboration during which the tutor and student(s) find shared meaning and connect to transfer knowledge. I employ a sort of Socratic Q&A method during my tutoring to achieve this knowledge transfer. I have several years of experience tutoring both in-person and via digital platforms for students ranging from elementary age to University age.

Independent of age and subject matter, the look of pride and confidence on a student's face when they grasp a new topic is something that simply cannot be matched in its inspirational nature.
