Bio

My expertise lies in both mathematics and saxophone performance. My passions for these subjects began at a very early middle school age, and I eagerly pursued both throughout my middle school, high school, and college years.

My math qualifications are extensive - beginning with multiple First placements in high school math competitions, a perfect score of 800 on the SAT math section, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at the University of Southern California.

My math qualifications are extensive - beginning with multiple First placements in high school math competitions, a perfect score of 800 on the SAT math section, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at the University of Southern California.

As a saxophonist, I played for 9 years, with expertise in classical, jazz, and experimental/electronic music. I graduated from the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, and entered USC as a BFA student in Classical Saxophone Performance.

My teaching style is very patient, organized, and goofy - I love coming up with little games to help students learn new methods; I love teaching because it keeps my brain sharp as well! I am here to help students get through difficult subjects, move forward, get ahead - whatever their goal is! I am committed to giving each student comprehensive lessons, and coming up with alternate methods that fit their individual needs. Additionally, I am a big proponent of recording lessons so students can go back and reference notes!

Over my 9 years, I have won various awards and scholarship competitions, and been part of the All-State Bands. I now actively combine saxophone with electronic music production, with successful music released on all music platforms.
