I'm so happy I found Nelson and he's been teaching me Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop! He is the MAN! First of all -- he knows Illustrator and understands it and he has an uncanny ability to explain it. I love that he has me send him my files so he doesn't just show me how he does something, he uses MY files wherever I'm stuck and he prepares beforehand using my files so the lessons go real efficient. He also encourages me to share my screen and work on my stuff as he gives me tips so that I get to experience and understand how to apply things to what I'm actually working on. He is the best Illustrator tutor you could imagine. Great listener, insightful, perfectly prepared, wants to work on what I am working on (not just randomly showing me stuff), has me try his concepts on my files so I see how it works. Also, he seems like he loves to teach, is very patient, loves design and teaching and just all around pleasant person to be around. I've learned so much in just a few lessons. Whenever I'm stuck, we can meet up, I send him my files beforehand and he comes in prepared with ideas and tips on how for me to get unstuck or do what I'm trying to do. He is the MAN!
