Hello, I'm Jennie!
I am a 4th year student at UCLA graduating with a bachelors in Linguistics and Computer Science. I worked at Paramount+ as a Software Engineering Intern.
I graduated high school in 2021 Summa Cum Laude (4.7 weighted GPA) and as an International Baccalaureate Student.
In past summers, I've worked as an instructors assistant with Kode with Klossy to help teach 100+ girls ages 13-18 how to code in Swift, project development skills, and the basics of mobile app development. I have tutored conceptual physics, multiple math courses, and have a strong background in many other subjects!
In college I have taken and passed many Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Data Structures and Algorithms, Statistics for Engineers, Mechanics Physics, Single and Multiple Var Calculus, Linear Algebra, Introduction to Computer Science (C++), Discrete Math, Physical Chemistry, and more.
In high school, I took mostly IB related classes (equivalent to AP) - Theory of Knowledge (A- on my 20 page Extended Essay), IB English HL (7), IB Spanish SL (5), IB Mathematics HL (6), IB Chemistry SL (5), IB History HL, AP Physics 1, AP Statistics, AP Human Geography, AP Art History, AP World History. I also scored a 12 on my ACT writing (the 100th percentile), so I have strong ability in essay arguments and writing.
I have experience teaching and have taught internationally online with Kode with Klossy. I have found that the best way to connect to students is to offer a good learning environment, where they know that the material they are learning is completely in their ability. Please message me if you have any questions. Thanks, Jennie!
