Hello! I have just moved to the LA area after receiving my Bachelor's in Clarinet Performance from the Peabody Conservatory at the Johns Hopkins University. I was awarded the Grace Clagett Ranney Prize in Chamber Music and the Azalia H. Thomas Price for the highest G.P.A. in Theory in my 2022 Graduating Class at the Peabody Conservatory.

I taught at the Zemer School of Music in Baltimore, MD during my final year of my undergraduate degree where I commuted to students’ houses and taught one on one lessons. I have also taught private lessons in person and on zoom as well. I have the most experience working with beginners ranging from 7-12 years old.

I have extensive performance experience, performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician. I performed as a soloist and chamber musician at the Brazilian Embassy where I played Brazilian music to celebrate the Bicentennial Anniversary of the Independence of Brazil. I was accepted to play at the Eastern Music Festival over the summer where I performed as Principal Clarinet.

I absolutely love introducing kids to the Clarinet and Music all while watching them grow! My priority when teaching my students is to always be challenging them while encouraging them to believe in themselves. Confidence is the key to learning any new skill!! We have lots of fun while keeping our standards high with the expectation of the student practicing outside of their lesson time during the week. We will achieve our Clarinet goals together, whether that be wanting to learn for fun, because you enjoy music, or because you plan on being the Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic one day!
