Hi! I’m an MD student passionate about helping students build confidence, master challenging material, and develop strong study skills. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Forensics and Criminality. Before medical school, I worked as an emergency department medical scribe, strengthening both my medical knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
I’ve been tutoring for nearly a decade, working with middle school, high school, college, and pre-med students in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, psychology, algebra, and other STEM subjects. I also mentor pre-med students through the medical school application process, including personal statements, extracurricular planning, and interview preparation.
My goal isn’t just to help students succeed on their next exam, but to help them become independent learners. I use evidence-based strategies like active recall and spaced repetition to improve understanding and retention, and I tailor each session to the student’s needs and learning style.
I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and thinking critically. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, strengthening your foundation, or working on a personal statement, I’m here to help you succeed.
