I'm a filmmaker, originally from Chicago and currently living in Los Angeles. Over the past 15 years I've been working in the business, I've directed a Feature Documentary that played major festivals and released in theaters in 2013. I've also directed over 30 comedy specials for Netflix, Comedy Central, Showtime Etc. In addition, I've directed major commercials (for the Super Bowl) as well as Narrative Series and Short Films with well-known Comedic Actors and Actresses. As a tutor, I'm looking to help provide insight into how I navigated the business, as well as teaching the nuts and bolts of Film and TV Production. I am also well versed in technique, as well as Film and TV History. I went to Film School, although I don't always see that as the only option. A tutor can be just as useful, and a lot less costly. There is no better way to learn Film and TV then to just jump right in and make it.

I believe my 15+ Years of experience working across the fields of Documentary, Narrative and Comedy Specials as both a Director and Producer has given me the tools to be able to speak about Film/TV and Video Production in a way that is most useful.

I look forward to meeting any prospective filmmakers, whether you are interested in being a writer, director, producer or editor. This is a challenging business, and if its something you want to make work then I'm here to discuss the path as well as any questions you may have. I can work within your own curriculum, as well as create a detailed curriculum to follow based on years of experience in the film industry.
