Prior to each lesson, Wen would ask me what I would like to focus on and would prepare definitions, examples, and practice problems for the topics I requested. This made our lessons very efficient. She also explains everything clearly. When we work on problems together, she teaches it in a step-by-step manner and in great detail. I was able to go from a C in my first midterm to an A- on my second midterm, all thanks to Wen's help.

Great, No-nonsense Tutor
Wen is a no-nonsense, serious yet humble and friendly tutor who is conscientious, concerned about her students' progress, and delivers results. Our daughter had been struggling with math when we reached out to Wen. She heard our concerns, developed a strategy to get our daughter up to speed, and held our daughter 's toes to the line. Along the way, Wen kept us apprised of our daughter's progress and reached out to us when she believed our daughter was struggling, not taking the tutoring seriously, or underperforming. To keep this review short, I offer this: Our daughter's math tests were in the 20%-50% range when we reached out to Wen. This week, our daughter took her last math test for the year and scored and 88%. Wow! Thanks, Wen!

Excellent Pre-Calculus teacher!
My son was performing poorly on Pre-Calculus during his senior year. I hired Ms. Wen throughout the year for twice a week to help my son. She tutored him to gain better understanding in Pre-calculus. This led to his grade improving considerably. She is well prepared for each class by contacting him prior day and collecting the lessons that need to taught. She is also very patient in teaching with my son. Thank you for the excellent work!!

Wonderful tutor that genuinely cares
Wen Li is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. She did a fantastic job helping my daughters with concepts, strategies and filling gasps in their foundations of math. My daughters feel they learned more about math with her than with any other teacher. They are making good progress. I would highly recommend her as a teacher for anyone looking for a great tutor that genuily cares for their student results. Also she is a great communicator and very quick to respond.
