I am a bilingual teacher with 13 years of teaching experience in grades K-5. Before holding a permanent teaching position, I was a long-term substitute teacher in a kindergarten class. I was also a teacher's assistant for five years in all grades from kindergarten through fifth grade. I have also had the opportunity to work with students on a one-to-one basis as a tutor. I am trained in and familiar with a variety of reading and math curriculums.

I have been recognized for my capacity to develop a warm classroom culture where young learners can thrive and fulfill their potential for emotional, intellectual, and social growth. I possess strong communication skills with students and parents. I use effective and efficient methods of teaching whilst focusing on the individual needs of each student.
