As both a classical pianist and piano teacher, I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and have taught students of all ages, from young children to retirees. Perseverance and patience are qualities I view as a necessity in teaching. I believe every individual has the potential and opportunity to reach their music goal, whether it's learning to play a song for Christmas, or passing a college audition and becoming a music major.
In addition to having 16 years of classical piano experience, I have worked as a rehearsal pianist for composer Eriks Esenvalds during the 2018 "Nordic Lights" performance in St. John's Canada. I have experience performing with orchestras, and performed Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto in B- flat Minor with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Ransom Wilson. Over the past few years, I have also been both faculty and ensemble director at the University of Redlands Piano Camp, dedicated to providing music education in a fun and encouraging environment.
