Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you for looking at my profile!! Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself.

As you can see from my profile picture I love hand-on learning experiences and seeking new adventures. I attended San Diego State University and earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies. After I earned my Bachelor's, I entered to teaching environment where I began as a Preschool Teacher for toddlers and pre-kindergarten students for three years. I then became an elementary school science assistant at a private school in Irvine for grades First through Sixth grades and I enjoyed every moment of it. During my time teaching science, I returned to school and earned my teaching credential and student taught in the Newport-Mesa District. I was blessed to have taught First grade as well as numerous long term substituting assignments. I am currently substituting in the Newport-Mesa District and Downey so that allows me to have a very flexible schedule for me to tutor your child.

My teaching philosophy is to ensure that there is a sense of fun and involvement in the learning process. I enjoy using visuals and a hands-on approach when I tutor children. If the learning is fun and engaging then it will ensure that there is academic success. My goal when I tutor your child is that they can develop a sense of confidence and success in their schooling.
