I am a native Russian speaker and bilingual Russian–English tutor with a strong educational background and a passion for working with children and families. In addition to my formal education, I have practical experience supporting students in language learning and academic development, including tutoring Russian and assisting non-native English speakers with language acquisition.
My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on building confidence, especially for children growing up in bilingual or multilingual environments. I help students develop conversational Russian, reading comprehension, basic grammar, and vocabulary in a clear and engaging way. I also support children with homework in Russian language and literacy-related tasks, adapting lessons to each child’s age, level, and learning style. My experience as a parent has further strengthened my ability to communicate with children in a calm, encouraging, and effective manner.
I work with elementary and middle school students as well as adults who want to learn or maintain Russian for cultural, family, or personal reasons. Lessons can be conversational, academic, or a mix of both, depending on the student’s goals. I am flexible with scheduling and committed to creating a comfortable, respectful learning environment.
