As a self-proclaimed nerd with over a year of full-time tutoring experience and several years of TA-ing as a Bachelor’s and Master’s student, I am confident saying I truly live to teach. My experience has led me to develop novel ways of presenting math & science concepts that aim to make complicated ideas more intuitive, and nothing makes me happier than succeeding at this goal.
For my Bachelor’s degree, I double majored in Astronomy and Physics and minored in Mathematics. I graduated Cum Laude (3.89 GPA), was a member of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, and have had my research published in a scientific journal. I was selected by multiple professors to help teach their classes to future students after noting my performance.
I have taught in several contexts: I have tutored tens of students 1 on 1, have hosted group-study sessions, have assisted students in their lectures in real-time, and have taught multiple lab sections solo. I am confident in both my understanding of technical subjects and my ability to distill complex topics in a straightforward manor that maintains their essence. Above all else, I am excited to meet and begin helping new clients succeed!
