Hello! I am Austin from California! I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with over ten years of teaching experience. During my teaching journey, I have taught a wide range of individuals including middle school students, housewives, and even North Korean refugees.
Most recently, I owned a successful English academy in South Korea. This gave me a lot of experience in developing curriculum to help ensure the success of my students. I believe in keeping my students aware of their progress at all times. When clear goals are set along with consistent feedback, I have found that my students continually improve.
In addition to teaching many types of student, I have also helped my students in various areas important to English learners. I have prepared my students for tests such as OPIC, TOEFL, & IELTS. I have helped my studnts improve in their speaking & pronunciation, as well as of course their writing & essay composition. Many of my students have had goals of either living abroad or studying abroad. It’s been very rewarding to see my students achieve these goals as they pass important exams and gain new skills in English.
I also used to own a popular English channel on Youtube, Dive Into New English. This channel was focused on Koreans learning English. I am now expanding to teach English to students across the globe. I have worked with all types of learners and my goal is to help you improve every class no matter who you may be. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals in English!
